Designed to take comfort up a notch for endurance riding, the Butterfly Century is engineered with a layer of Poron XRD shock absorbing material between the saddle’s base and foam layers. The Poron XRD reduces road shock and allows for a thinner layer of foam and a narrower overall saddle profile, without loss of rider comfort. A larger foam cutout provides greater soft tissue relief. Our most performance-oriented Triathlon saddle, the Belcarra V 1.0VTRI is part of our V-Concept saddle program which was developed for the more flexible rider, particularly in the pelvis and lumbar spine, who tend to ride a more aggressive aero position. Their shape on the bike is similar to a V, hence the name. These riders sit towards the front of the saddle supported by their pubic rami. The riding position is lower in general and requires a slightly different shaped saddle. The 1.0VTRI features our carbon rails for the ultimate in light weight. The weight-optimized 611 Ergowave Carbon was designed to precisely accommodate the requirements of off-road cycling and perfectly meet the demands of All Mountain and Enduro use. At just 150g, it's the lightest 611 in the Ergowave family. The wave-like shape and raised rear section provide perfect rearward support and an optimal pressure distribution which reaches deep into the body structures to result in improved power transmission. The lowered nose, in combination with the dip, provides optimal pressure relief for the perineal area. For even more pressure relief, especially on long technical climbs, the saddle nose of the 611 was made approximately 4mm wider than that of the 612, but just as flat and with the largest possible surface area. The padding was designed for the specific needs on the MTB with better dampening properties than the 612 making it perfect for rough off-road terrain. Additionally, a premium quality Kevlar material protects the saddle in the exposed places.

The saddle rails on the non-active versions have been placed slightly closer together to allow for a more flexible shell which mimics the SQlab active technology and allows the saddle shell to follow the biomechanical motion when pedaling. This results in increased comfort, mobilization of the spinal discs, and reduced pressure to the sit bones.
