Estimated Shipping Timelines

Orders placed before 12pm EST will generally ship within 24 hours. Orders placed over the weekend or on recognized holidays will generally ship on Tuesdays. 

For standard shipping, orders will typically arrive 4-6 business days from the date of shipment. Items over $500 will require a signature on delivery.

Delivery arrival times are estimates only and may change based on order volume or other circumstances, like weather-related delays. If we encounter any unexpected delays in shipping, we’ll contact you via email.

Expedited shipping may be requested by calling the shop during hours Tuesday - Saturday at 724-691-0966.

Free Shipping Offers

 If an item is advertised as free shipping you may select free shipping at check out. Items will not be processed with free shipping if they are not advertised as so. 

Exclusions from Estimated Shipping Timelines and Free Shipping Offers

Estimated Shipping Timelines and Free Shipping Offers do not apply to:

  • Products shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and international orders

  • Pre-orders or backorders

Shipping Restrictions by Location

We can’t ship certain products to some locations because of local regulatory restrictions or restrictions from our Brand Partners. Items will be denoted as local pick-up only. 

Shipping Restrictions by Delivery Method

Certain hazardous or flammable products, like those containing lithium batteries or compressed air, can only be shipped via ground delivery and are only able to be shipped to the contiguous United States, they cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, any US Territories, or Internationally.

Damage or Missing Packages

Flat Tire Co. does offer shipping on many items fully insured. If an item becomes lost we are happy to assist once the claim has been submitted. Bicycles may be mis handled, boxes may become ripped open, frames may become scratched in transport by carriers. There is an unfortunate chance of damage when shipping a bicycle, hands down it is a risk we take. All bikes will be packaged to the best of our ability with full bubble wrap and in a quality box. We withhold the right to refuse responsibility for any damage that may occur including but not limited to scratches or dents to your bicycle. Claims may be submitted to UPS, we can not offer any extra compensation due to damage in shipping for scratches or dents. 


Un-opened and unused small parts can be returned within 30 days of purchase, all orders are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Returns must be unopened new in box/with packaging. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON BICYCLES OR TAKE-OFF PARTS/PARTS WITHOUT ORIGINAL PACKAGING. Buyer pays return shipping. Unused parts must be returned in the condition you received them and with the original box and/or packaging, including manufacturer tags where applicable. Please take the time to carefully package your returns. It’s your responsibility to pay costs related to the repair of returned items damaged during shipping due to improper packaging. 

We will not accept the return of products that have been used, damaged, or ride, or without original packaging. 

It takes 3–5 business days to process a return after it arrives at our shop. You’ll receive an email confirmation when your return is received and that the return has been processed.

If you think your gear may be eligible for a warranty from the manufacturer due to defects in its materials or workmanship, contact us for more information via email at or by calling the shop during hours Tuesday - Saturday. 


The amount of tax charged on your order will depend on the type of item purchased and the destination of the shipment. Certain items may be exempt from sales tax, depending on state and local laws. The sales tax actually charged will be calculated when your order is shipped and will reflect applicable state and local taxes. Factors can sometimes change between the time you place an order and the time of credit card settlement, which could affect the calculation of sales tax. The sales tax amount applied to your order during the checkout process is our best estimate and may differ from the amount ultimately charged. If an item is subject to sales tax in the state to which the order is shipped, tax is generally calculated on the total selling price of each individual item, which can include shipping and handling fees.
